Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Studio Digital Group ("we", "us" or "our"), trading as Construction-Digital.co.uk, collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information when you use construction-digital.co.uk or contact us about our services. We act as the data controller for the information described here.

1. Information we collect

When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect:

  • Your name, company name, email address and phone number
  • Your trade or role, and the services, budget and timeline you tell us about
  • The message you send us
  • Confirmation that you consented to us processing your information, with the date and time of that consent

When you browse the site, we also collect limited technical information such as the pages viewed, approximate location (country), browser and device type, and the site that referred you. This is gathered with cookies and similar technologies, and is used in aggregate to understand how the site performs.

We do not collect special category data (such as health or political information), and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

2. How we use your information and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for — necessary for a contract or steps taken at your request
  • To send you marketing or project updates where you have asked for them — based on your consent
  • To keep records of consent and communications so we can evidence compliance with UK GDPR
  • To improve our website, services and marketing — based on our legitimate interests, provided your rights are not overridden
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations — necessary for compliance with a legal obligation

We do not make decisions about you by automated means and we do not profile you for the purposes of making decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Consent

Our enquiry forms ask you to confirm that you are happy for us to process and store your information so we can respond to you. That consent is recorded with a timestamp alongside your enquiry. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing hello@studiodigitalgroup.co.uk and we will stop processing your information on that basis and delete it, unless we are required to keep it for legal reasons.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies: essential cookies that make the site work, and analytics cookies that tell us how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Our cookie notice appears when you first arrive and lets you continue in the knowledge that these are used.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted suppliers who help us operate, such as our website hosting and database provider, our email delivery service, and analytics providers. Each supplier is required to use your information only on our instructions and to keep it secure.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, for example by a court or regulator.

6. International transfers

Some of our suppliers process information outside the United Kingdom. Where we do this, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK GDPR, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations, to ensure your information remains protected.

7. How long we keep your information

  • Enquiries from people who did not become clients: up to 24 months, then deleted unless you ask us to keep them
  • Client records: for the life of our agreement plus the period required for tax and accounting records
  • Consent records: kept for the same period as the enquiry they relate to
  • Analytics data: retained in aggregate for up to 14 months

8. How we protect your information

The site is served over HTTPS, access to stored information is restricted to the people who need it, and suppliers are chosen for their security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request access to the information we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate information corrected
  • Have your information deleted where there is no reason for us to keep it
  • Restrict or object to our processing, including objecting to direct marketing
  • Receive the information you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time where consent is our lawful basis

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@studiodigitalgroup.co.uk. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have mishandled your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be highlighted on the site.

11. Contact us

If you have questions about this policy, or how we handle your information, please email hello@studiodigitalgroup.co.uk and we will get back to you.
